You should be super close to wrapping up the semester. Before you head out for your holiday, make sure you have completed the following:
I can not accept any work after Friday, December 16. Hope you all have a great holiday break! ![]() As we get ready to close the semester, I would like to hear from you... We want to continue to improve as a virtual learning provider, so please follow the link below and complete the feedback survey. Thanks so much for taking the time to complete the survey! http://www.guthrievirtualschool.net/feedback/ This is it...final week of the semester!
Your Semester Exam will be available Tuesday - Thursday of this week. This exam has a 1 hour time limit. Once you begin the exam, it must be completed in one sitting. All the questions are multiple choice, matching, or T/F and should look VERY familiar to you, as they are taken straight from the Rosetta Stone program, Verb/Vocab resource pages and other assignments from the semester. Any points earned from the Semester Exam will add to your Module 3 grade. Spend this week, preparing for your exam, acing your exam and checking your gradebook. Remember...ALL course work must be completed by Friday, December 16. ![]() The finish line is in sight... We have 2 weeks left in the fall semester. Can you believe it!?! What should you be working on this week? There are a couple of posted deadlines: Tuesday - Rosetta Stone Check #4 (33 total lessons) Thursday - Speaking Activity Any and all free time this week should be spent finishing up any work that you still need to submit or re-submit. Next week, you will submit your Semester Review Project, Tech Use and take your Semester Exam (don't forget to check with your campus about scheduling your exam. ALL coursework must be completed by FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16!! (Yes...I'm yelling on purpose, because this is really important!) Can you believe it...There are only 3 weeks left in the fall semester?!?
I hope everyone had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving holiday. We are going to hit the ground running as we return this week and get right back to work. There are a couple of deadlines posted that you should keep on your radar: Thursday - Show & Tell Discussion Board Friday - Rosetta Stone Check #3 (30 total lessons) I've pushed these deadlines to the end of this week, so that you have several days to get the work done. Also, if your campus was out all of last week and you missed the posted deadline from last Monday, bump that forward to this week and get it wrapped up by Friday. I will be sending Module 3 Progress Grades to your campus this morning. If you are behind on your Rosetta Stone lessons, that grade will probably be pretty scary. :( Work super hard to stay on track in these final weeks of the semester! ![]() I know that everyone is ready for a nice break, so I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! This is a short week for me, as I will be online Monday-Tuesday. BUT, it sounds like several of you all have the entire week off...SO LUCKY! Only one deadline posted for this week: Glossary If your campus has the entire week off, then just shuffle this assignment forward to the week when you return, and I won't count it towards your progress grade. Make sure that you are all caught up with your assignments before we return from the break, especially the Rosetta Stone lessons. I will be sending progress grades to your campus early next week, and you need those points. I will be offline starting Wednesday, but I will be sure to check email at least once a day. Enjoy your Thanksgiving break! We are going to keep hammering away at the new Rosetta Stone unit this week so that you can have the majority of your lessons behind you as you head into the Thanksgiving holiday.
Keep the following deadlines on your radar this week: Wednesday - Writing Activity Friday - Rosetta Stone Check #2 (20 total lessons) This grading period is going to go super fast, so don't fall behind here at the beginning. If you didn't get your Rosetta Stone lessons from last week finished up, make that a priority TODAY. You need those points! Let me know if you have any questions and work hard this week! |
